Uplifts mission is to support Christ-centered homeschool families through connective community.

Born out of a time when community was more important than ever, Uplift was launched in January 2022, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. In a season marked by isolation and uncertainty, a group of faithful moms came together with a shared desire: to rebuild the vital homeschool community that had once flourished in our area.

Before the pandemic, many of us found connection through a beloved co-op known as Friday School—later called Cascade Christian Homeschool Cooperative. It was more than just a weekly gathering; it was where friendships grew, support was shared, and homeschooling became a journey walked together. When that program shut down, a deep void was felt by many.

In 2021, through prayer, vision, and collaboration, God began to birth something new. Uplift took shape—drawing from the rich foundation of Friday School and inspired by models like the Firmly Planted Homeschool Resource Center in Vancouver. Our goal was simple yet powerful: to create a place where homeschool families could learn, grow, and thrive together in a Christ-centered community.

What started with about 30 families has grown into a vibrant network offering a variety of programs that serve the whole family, including:

  • Community Day Cohorts – A 3-hour weekly gathering for students and moms

  • Resource Classes – Enrichment opportunities across subjects and ages

  • Homeschool Support & Resources – Practical help and encouragement

  • Uplift Sports – Physical education and team-building activities

  • Uplift Teen Program – Tailored connection and growth for teens

  • Conferences & Women’s Retreats – Events that inspire and refresh

  • Mission Trips – Serving together beyond our local community

At Uplift, we believe homeschooling families shouldn’t have to walk alone. Whether you’re new to homeschooling or a seasoned veteran, our prayer is that you find encouragement, connection, and Christ-centered support here.
